A NEW TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION

Located on the aptly named Lover’s Retreat beach in Plymouth (Tobago), Tapia Cabins introduces the first in a series of semi-autonomous (off-grid) lifestyle cabins to the islands. Inspired by traditional local architecture, the cabins present a new type of contemporary accommodation unique to Tobago and the Caribbean region.

EXPERIENCE

Conceived as luxury lifestyle accommodation amongst the island’s exotic birdlife, coral reefs and rainforests, the cabins present the perfect combination of contemporary architecture and interiors alongside some of the world’s most incredible natural landscapes.

CULTURE

Tapia Cabins (Plymouth Peninsula) will offer visitors the experience of Caribbean culture at its finest and most authentic. Combining a fusion of local gormet cuisine, unparalleled hospitality and amenities within the backdrop of a secluded beachfront. A cluster of four cabins (3 suites and 1 amenity cafe lounge) with a surrounding boardwalk will ensure a guest focused, intimate lifestyle experience for visitors to the cabins and the island.

SUSTAINABILITY

The cabins embody a sustainable approach to hospitality development through the use of local materials, craftsmen and off-site pre-fabrication. This added benefit means the cabins can be quickly erected and relocated to suit the desired location, reducing the impact on environmentally sensitive locations. Each unit also employs sustainable utility provisions using passive and renewable energy solutions.
